Looking for opinions on a Micro ATX mobo for some long hardcore gaming sessions. And of course it will be overclocked..

CPU - phenom 9600BE --- unless u can prove a duel will beat a quad at folding

Ram - 4GB of... unsure yet... something good for overclocking 2X2GB

Video = 8800GT ... ATI fanboy but when u get this for free

2. i got a short list of ones that have been reccomended.. so pick the best of the best.. moneys of little option

Oh god i'm sorry, for some wacky reason I actually thought you were on about Mini ITX boards for a mo I was suprised you could have pci-e on them or anything like that now lol!! In any case yeah as long as you've got cooling lol. They are all AMD boards btw though and i'm not sure about what Micro-ATX's are good at overclocks tbh. Good luck though, I like compact things and I'd like to see how this turns out may try something similar sometime

The 780G is AM2+ so you will be able to take advantage of the Phenom features and it has PCI-E 2.0 and 1066 ram support.The Gigabyte review looks like it has some good BIOS OC options.Asus also has one out but not sure about its BIOS options.

Was able to hit 3.4GHz on my 5200+with phase at work. Edit, it also has support for phenom procs as well.

Just in case you don't know,which some don't.Most good AM2 MB's support the Phenom with a BIOS update but you don't get all the features of the Phenom unless you get a AM2+ MB.Like the HT 3.0 PCI-E 2.0 DDR 1066 support and some power options.

I am not a fanboy, but a q6600 + P35 would outfold any phenom build
