lol its the bfg 8600 gts and not the ob video .... maybe its just reporting the wrong speed? and its running at normal speed? i really hope its not a bad Mb or Vc as everything seems to be running great .... games seem to be running good so who knows?

click on USER CP up at the top and fill in your system specs. (add system) this way we can see what your system is. You will notice most of us have our systems outlined in the signature section of our posts...

ahh ok done hope that helps some thanks ... still no fix here i don't know what to do ... its hard to find much info on this motherboard

anybody know of a bios fix? or should i just send the video card back to new egg and try another one?

hi amptech ... wow we have a simular setup .... as far as everything els is concerned with the board everything seems good .... so i dont know if its just a bug with the link width at 8x or just what the deal is .... please let me know if you find anything out .... and ill do the same for you

Just the same board, I bought mine to use temporarily until I get my warranty replacement from DFI, an Infinity NF570 M2/G that died on me a while ago. I have a feeling this Biostar won't do anything with the memory timing just because it's made that way, the BIOS isn't allowing it as it's just a cheep board. I looked for a modded BIOS at Rebels Haven but couldn't find anything other than T-force stuff I'm almost tempted to try one of those, but I don't have a backup board right now in case it doesn't work and kills my board.
I'll let you know if I find out anything here, thanks.
