I have an Asus Motherboard with an AMD Chipset. I was wondering if when I update my ATI Catalyst Drivers should I also download and update the Southbridge driver also? thx in advance

the catalyst drivers should have nothing to do with chipset drivers. But If I were you I would spent the time updating drivers on the entire rig.

No you dont get the Soutbridge Drivers. The are 2 separate downloads, and if that the case then why are the Southbridge Drivers even there and what are they used for?

Hey, don't jump on me........ When I downloaded the catalyst suit and installed it after using driver cleaner pro to erase old drivers, it installed the south bridge drivers as well.
That was my experience with the installation, I doubt I am the only one.
I agree with --ares--, you should update all your drivers.

I was not jumping on you at all. Last night I did a fresh install of Windows Vista and I also want to know if I should install my Asus Chipset Drivers or not?
