Question Open box DFI

So I've never bought an open box item before, I mean you don't get all the cables and w.e, no big deal.

But I mean, is there any reason NOT to buy an open box mobo, that is crucial to performance... lol I have no clue. I've always avoided open box items, but yea?

Nope. Newegg tests open box items to make sure they are functional. As you stated though, nothing included. Just the item itself. (Unless you get lucky.)

If you've already got a set of cables then I see no reason why not buy an Open Box.

Like Retrospekt said, you sometimes get lucky and get everything.

I got an X35 Dark Open Box from the egg and every thing was in it and it works 100% fine, so you never know for sure what you get unless its an "OEM Open Box" which is just the MB and nothing else but it is in fact New and unused... those are the units that are used for Bare Bone builds.

Got an open box DFI Lanparty from Frys back in the skt 939 days. Nobody could get it to work before I got a hold of it. I think they were using the wrong psu or something. Worked perfectly for me (still running perfectly today) and came with everything except for the SLI bridge. Big whoop. Give it a go!

Nope, Newegg doesn't test anything.

It's a gamble, but if it's broken you are covered under Newegg's return policy, so it's a pretty safe gamble.
