hi there everyone, does anyone know why my system wont even get to POST when i push the fsb past 212mhz? ive isolated the motherboard by underclocking the cpu and the memory, but everytime i try to get past 212mhz it wont even run the POST. have i bought a crappy board? u can see what board it is in my sig. many many thanks everyone!!!!!!

Have you given it a tiny bump in voltage? Usually once you hit a wall with FSB you increase the voltage and try again. Also loosening memory timings gives you some room.

Just be sure to keep an eye on temperatures.

hi there, and cheers for the reply. i did my oc by following this guide : http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...ocket-am2.html : loosened all the mem timings, and tried upping the voltage a little, but still no passing 212, which from what ive heard is pretty low. any ideas?????
