stock voltage should be fine on the oem cooler, upping the voltage should still be fine with idle temps, the question comes with load temps though as these 125w/140w chips put out massive heat when loaded

up your cpu-nb voltage to match your cpu core voltage to get some stability

One small caveat regards the Phenom 9950 and the DK 790fx: it is not designed to handle a 140 W CPU.* If you are unstable at load while overclocked, it is possible the PWM cannot keep up with the CPU or that the PWM is in fact overheating. Are you stable loading at stock?

* It may be okay with a 125 W Phenom 9950. I have not checked that.
