Well I finally decided on what i wanted to upgrade to.
__________________Thank you to everyone who has helped me. Processor: AMD s939 3500+ Clawhammer $220 Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum NForce 4 ultra $120 Heatsink: Zalman 90c $50 When I bought everything I was told that it was a venice core. However when i got it home CPUID said that it is a Clawhammer, but CPUID is also reporting my multiplier as 5 and my vcore as 1.0. So it could be the Venice still, my load temp is 35 C while oced from 2.2 to 2.65 Also the stepping is ADA3500DEP4AS CAAZC 0443 APMW 1067 804 B5 0455 Is that good?

Mine worked no problems out of the box. Check to see if you have the 4 pin connector plugged in, its located just above the processor. Also set up the absolute minimum of parts required, i.e. mobo processor harddrive keyboard only. Set up those parts OUTside of a case preferrably on the anti static bag that came with your mobo. With that you should be able to get into your bios atleast.

CPUID isn't reading my processor right. It says that my multiplyer is at 5 and my vcore is at 1.0. But its really 11 and 1.6. Windows system info reads it right.
