AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core 6400+ Corsair XMS2 PRO TWIN2X2048-6400PRO Okay Well it is time for the OC! Well 1st off, I started push the FSB, 210 Passed 220 Passed 230 Passed 240 Passed 250 Passed 260 Passed 270 Passed 280 Passed 290 Passed 300 Passed 310 Passed 320 Passed 330 Passed <--- WOW, that is great! Now this MB also does all your voltages by it self, It adds as needed! Also with with the being able to change your muti to 10.5 with out a BE is great! It changes for HT link as well, EVEN Your RAM!, It is LIVE!!!! Next up to bat.. Memory! Now I have just normal DDR2800, I know my RAM could not handle 1155 Mhz.. But I guess it can 1155!!! What! (Now I am waiting on my DRR2 1100) So this is over all.. I have a 52.7% OC! (CPU/MB 8.3%, Mem 44.4%)... Now I am air cooled and stable.. temps sit around 83F (Room temp 78), 122 with load!.. I must say.. I am very happy! Now to push it some more.. I'll update as I go!

me motherboard and cpu as you
hi i have the same motherboard as you and cpu.
i have a 1gig geforce 9600 graphics card a antec 900 case 2x 500gig sata2 h/d same ram as you only 6gig all the settings you shwn in your post what speed did you get at each one.? what did you use for stability testing? all my settings are stock at the moment i dont know much about overclocking ram, can you email me telling me what you done in altering thesettings for the ram o/c. im using the zalman 9700 air cooler,what are you using? |

Wow! I was about to buy the Asus M3A78-T for my X2 4000+ but now I may have to rethink that. Very impressive!

wow..this thread..is uh..almost half a year old/dead? and how does a board adjusts its volts automatically? no. i have the latest 790x ud4P (step down from the am3 version 790XT ud4p) and it does not do anything on auto....as far as the bios goes..go update it and check it out, if you dont like it, you can always flash it back to f3...

I don't have a Phenom / Phenom II CPU that's why I asked If anyone can flash their own BIOS to F3T so i can get the answer. And it doesn't matter if this thread is half or a year old, I won't open another thread identical as this one so I can get my answer. I can get it here aswell.
