Default DFI LP Dark 790FX HT??

Hey guys. On my old DFI LanParty boards, you were to keep the HTLink as close to 1000 as possible. What about with this 6000+ on this board. right now I am at 1200.1. What is the ideal number, or can I just keep pushing it?

As far as I know, the idea was to keep it as close to 1000 as possible just for motherboard stability. If you can push it higher without stability issues, you have a really solid board, so go for it.

Generally with AM2 sockets it doesnt quite matter as much if your HT Link goes over 1000Mhz.

Generally, anywhere in and around 1200-1400Mhz is a safe maximum

Yeah, I just remember on my opty 939, I could get to 1100 on my DFI NF4 Expert board and it would work fine, and people were pretty surprised I could reach that.

No issues for me up to near 1400 on the HT with a DC CPU with both AM2 and AM2+ MBs.
