Default Suggestions for Mobo

I need suggestions for a new mobo, as the ps/2 keyboard slot and LAN went out on mine, and I dunno whats gonna go next.

S939 and 184-pin ram if possible, the S939 at least.

All suggestions are open.

Also, how do I go about flashing my mobo? Because it says its an Acer FC51GM, but its actually a Foxconn 6100K8MA-8EKRS, proof: http://www.foxconnchannel.com/produc...D=en-us0000034

picture perfect replica of mine.

Edit: from reading this thread: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=2867743

the guy flashed his mobo, and it can vary on chipset, he had the 6100 as well. would it be safe to do it, since im 100% sure they are the same mobo?

939 is an outdated socket and compenents for it are getting REALLY expensive... it might just be worth your while to sell your system off and buy a AM2 or 775 system

That said, if you're really wanting to stick with 939, look into a DFI's Lanparty series for a motherboard (specifically the Ultra-D)... I had two of those boards (a NF4-D and Ultra-D) and just LOVED THEM TO DEEAAATH .... and look into OCZ Platinum 2x1GB DDR400 for performance RAM (was very pleased with the OCability of these when I had a 939 system)

As for flashing your BIOS - If you're sure it's the same board (just rebadged):
1) Verify it IS the same board using the manual
2) here's the BIOS file
3) here's how to flash it
4) here are the drivers - chipset, audio, onboard video

Good luck and post back or PM me for further help

Beside this being and old thread and that you don't have this board anymore...where you able to crossflash?

(it's pretty obvious that threads discussing old hardware are old...but that doesn't change the fact that I'm interested since I now have this board (got it for my parents -->they don't need much PC power) and I was wondering if you where able to do what you wanted to do at that time )

Thanks a bunch and have a nice day.
