Default Do You Have The nForce Chipset?

If you have a nForce chipset, DO NOT install the IDE SW drivers they cause performance loss within games and screw up your music in a couple of applications!

There are part of the nForce drivers from Nvidia.

I installed them and I had to use the system restore to get my system back!!!!

I think they are not compatible with WinXP SP1

Thats wierd because the drivers are on your motherboard disk. I installed everything and it installed fine. I didnt to restore anything. You need to get a updated version from the site and it will install correctly.

I tried them as well and I got the same result... I'm not too worried about it as my rig is running fine without the driver installed.

I'm using SP1 with the latest nvidia chipset drivers on my shuttle mobo and it's working fine.

Maybe it something else in your system that's conflicting with the drivers...

Check your computer for ad-spy-ware. I've had some weird one at a time that would not let me install my video card drivers...
