Ya I wasn't either. I was hoping though. I wonder if it's the board or the proc. There is no way to know unless you had a board confirmed of being able to do it. But it's all good. This board has taken this proc to 3.6Ghz already and I know I can get more!!

hah the "March AMDNESS" did just end, i think I might just save up for an i7 now considering its 500$, and the phenom 940 x4 is 400$ with a good mobo

Anyone get "FF" error after changing bios setting like me ? Is this firmware bug or hardware design defect ? I prefered to buy this mobo rather than Biostar 790GX 128M because of its all solid state caps (there are only some SS caps on the Biostar mobo) but I was wrong. This mobo is really a nightmare for me. in addition, I am using X-Fi elite pro pci sound card, hence I am unable to use pcie slot 4(blue slot). The chipset heatsink is so close to pcie slot 1 (blue slot), Zalman VGA cooler VF900-CU prevents me to install Video card in pcie slot 1 due to big screws. I must accept 8x link width of pcie slot 2 or 3 (black slots). Do you know a way to get 16x link width with slots 2 and 3 (I use single video card)?

Yeah, sometimes after I made changes in BIOS then save and exit. It will not boot, monitor remains blank. I had to shut the power, wait a couple sec then boot. This always happen. Maybe its BIOS issues.

Any one know how to get 260 Bus Speed on this board ?
I am currently running at 3.6GHz (240 x15), my goal is 260x14; however no matter how I set the voltage in BIOS I just can't get stable.

HT Voltage Control [ ?]
NB Voltage Control [ ?]
CPU PLL voltage Setting [ ?]

of course you might just need to bump a few voltages since your FSB is high..so far tested with thing with 2620mhz NB HT with 1.4v on its tail..CPU PLL is always left default..NB voltage is always either 0.0125v or 0.025v lower than your CPU voltage since NB speeds are guranteed to speed up when OC'd..

Thanks for the info, the default NB voltage in the BIOS is 1.85v(2.335vmax) so I have no idea what to do with it.
By the way kairi, where did you find the 100mm crossfire bridge cable for this board?
