I have a big problem! I updated to P08 BIOS and now Only one of my 3 cores is at 3.7Ghz???? What the hell happened????? In my BIOS and POST screen it says 3.7Ghz but after loading windows it's only 3.7 on core 0. Core 1 and 2 are at stock 2.8Ghz. It's making my PC run really bad. Anyone else have this issue or did I miss something in the BIOS setup? I have checked 3 times and nothing seems out of place and I don't see anyway to fix it. HELP!!!!!

It sounds like you have Advanced Clock Control on and set to "Per Core" or "Auto"

Try turning it off/disable.

It's already disabled. All my other settings are good. I think I may go back to P07 unless there are any other ideas as to why it's doing that?

First try to re-apply your overclock. Take out battery and clear the jumper.

Then fi that doesn't work, flash again to P08. Again, if it's bad, go to P07.

I tried it but no luck. I went back to P07 so I don't have to mess with it. Oh well.

Well went an picked up a new chip for this board today. Must say I'm impressed just wish foxconn would stop being so lazy an release a bios that will recognize these chips that amd are bringing out.

Very nice OC! Ya foxconn is lazy but from what I have heard they are soon to be no more. Or at the least I know they are in business trouble.

Got a question regarding this OC, since I own a Phenom II X4 955 on a A79A-S board with the current P08 bios.
As someone else has written earlier, my OC to 3.7GHz only gets applied to Core 0 too, Core1-3 are still on default 3.2GHz.
This issues wasn't there on P07, but had to update to P08 due to other reasons.

Does your OC get applied to all cores? Could it be an 955 issue only or due to some other settings?
