I opened a ticket with Foxconn 2 days ago regarding the issue that an overclock only gets applied to Core 0.
They just came back to me and sent me a beta version of a new BIOS that corrected the problem. My overclock now applies correctly to Core 0-3. Great support by Foxconn, hope they'll release an official P09 with this fix for other X4 955 owners soon. Last edited by chokran : 08-14-09 at 06:30 AM |

I'm not sure yet if a new problem was introduced with this BIOS regarding sleep mode. I don't recall changing anything else than the BIOS and now, when waking the computer from sleep, the monitors stay black and only reset brings them back. Will have to flash back to P08 to make sure. Please let me know if the same thing happens to you. |

I am using Windows 7 and just installed an asus lion square cooler (4-pin pwm). My CPU fan always run at maximum speed ~2270 rpm, it is as noisy as amd stock fan. The bios doesn't have an option to change fan speed. I installed softwares:foxone, speedfan but unable to change fan speed by these software although they show fan speed. Is there any way to change fan speed of my lion square in windows 7?

Has anyone been able to use the eSata ports with windows 7?
I connect my freeagent (seagate) and it powers up, and I hear it spin, but windows 7 does nothing...the first time it said it installed something...but no hd appears

it's supposed to work in AHCI mode anyway for eSATA hotplugging, regardless of the operating system you use.
