The BIOS on this board is insane. It has options for the options, and I can't tell what's what. This is a true tweaker's board. I may have overstepped my bounds on this one

I have to tweak around using the BIOS. AMD AOD is incompatible with windows 7, too bad. Atm, im stuck at 3.1ghz, 200 x 15.5 at 1.4v, load temp is 55C. Do you think I can push it further? I haven't played with the ref clock yet.

I am installing this MOBO on my other rig as we speak but I was wondering if any one knows what AA is on the MOBO or if anyone has the link to see what all the codes are?

I've been super satisfied with this board. 4GB Patriot Viper 1066, Phenom ii 940BE

I'm stable at 3.8Ghz with 238Mhz x 16.

If anyone is confused, here's the CPUID for the multiplier:

CPUID Multiplier Result

C = x14 = 2.8Ghz@200FSB
10 = x16 = 3.2Ghz@200FSB
11 = x16.5 = 3.3Ghz@200FSB
12 = x17 = 3.4Ghz@200FSB
13 = x17.5 = 3.5Ghz@200FSB
14 = x18 = 3.6Ghz@200FSB

anyone getting BSOD with this board? I set the settings at optimized defaults (what does that mean?) in bios and ran some stress tests in AMD overdrive and it seems alright.

I had a biostar board before and it bsod 100 times so I RMAed it back and got this board but used the same hard drive. Do I have to format the HDD before putting in a clean install of vista?

Just ordered this board in a crazy awesome combo deal.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.165028
Phenom II X3 720 w/ this board and it comes out to around $210(AR). Very similar to the combo spaceballsrules got with the 940 IIRC. I'm pumped.
