I've got a A79A-S for my first build and I'm having trouble setting the ram to 1066. I ran memtest3.5 after I used bios to Manually set it to 1066 and it crashed after about 3 seconds. I ran memtest in 800 Mhz and it spit out a few errors when I ran both sticks, but not when I ran each stick individually. I'm guessing this is operator error on my part and I'd like some help setting my ram to 1066 and benchmarking it so I know it works properly and is stable (I have to mail in a rebate and I don't want to do that until I know I won't be returning it)

System Specs:
Athalon X2 7750
A79A-S Motherboard
2x2Gb 1066 OCZ Platinum DDR2 Ram

Is there a cool n quiet option in the BIOS for this board? In another thread someone said it's called CPU Smart Fan/System Smart Fan Functions but another poster said it was called Power Now. Can anyone clarify for me?

It's called "Power Now" and it's in the CPU configuration tab.

I just ordered one of these boards in a combo deal with an AMD Phenom II X3 720 on NewEgg for $212. I can't wait to get it. Looks like a good board but for that price I figured I couldn't go wrong!! I'll post here when I get it!!
