I'm ordering this board tonight, and I'm wondering if you all like this board and if Cross fire can be done with the slots so far apart.

Yeah, you can do XFire with the board. You just need a really long bridge. I heard that Foxconn was going to start shipping the boards with these bridges, but I am not sure they have started. I would call Foxconn and see what they have to say about it.

I have tried with no luck. I just got my the mobo and proc last week. When I try to use the Advance Clock Calibration to unlock it it won't even post. Heck, it won't even beep or anything. I don't know if that means the board won't do it or if I got a cpu that truly has a defective 4th core.

This board and cpu are awesome!! I'm so glad I picked it up. The BIOS is very cryptic at best and laid out like a 2 year old's coloring but still worth it.

This has to do with people being able to unlock their tricores to quadcores in some cases. Of course, this doesn't always work, and you need certain boards to do it.

It has full 940 BE support

I couldn't unlock it either, wouldn't post just like yours. Oh well, I wasn't expecting it in the first place.

Thanks! just ordered the combo.... just in case the newegg MARCHMADDNESS finishes in march and as no equivalent in april... is there much performance loss by using DDR2 800?
