Think I'm finally ready to buy something, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts between these two mobos or maybe something in a similar price(like around $300 for both cpu and mobo, getting a 920) If I get the Biostar it's about $40 cheaper, but I'm not sure if it'd be reliable or not, never really heard of the brand too much before but then again I'm completely out of it when it comes to actual experience with parts. The asus has another pci-e slot, but I don't think I'll even be doing 2 cards. Other than that it has more ports but I don't think I need any of them.
__________________I'm also thinking of getting a better cooler, was thinking of a Vendetta 2, is that still good? Any better suggestions? Would it fit on those boards without blocking the RAM slots? I guess it doesn't matter much since I'm getting 2gbx2 which should be plenty anyway but whatever. I'll probably definitely get on if I get the biostar, unless I decide to put the free $40 into getting a 940 instead but looking at current results doesn't seem to get all that much more on air over the 920. Getting this RAM, should it be good to overclock with? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122

The Biostar is great. People have gone pretty high with them, but you can't push it like an ASUS board. Many have dead boards trying to push farther when the Phenom II's came out.
__________________Your ram is good. Have good airflow those get pretty warm. The Vendetta 2 is good. It might be covered slightly by the fan, but shouldn't be a problem.
