Lightbulb will the zalman 7700 fit?

I bought a zalman 7700 off of ebay and was thinking that thing wtih its copper and steelr glory wrapped around a 120mm fan is going to be HUGE!. I was wondering if anyone knows for sure it will fit in the DFI lanparty UT boards. The thing I am worried about is my ram being in the way, all though it does gradually get bigger so maybe it will go above my ram, hopefully i should say. Anyone know if this thing will fit for sure or not?

Also i was wondering how these perform compared to the xp-90s and 120s.

the 7700 will work great. i loved my 7000-cu (kept my P4 2.8Ghz @ 3.8 idling at 30C), and the 7700 is better. i'm gonna buy a 9500 when i can, cuz i don't care about 3-4C, and i think it's the coolest looking heatsink out there. plus the blue LED fan matches my case lights, and i will have a vf-700 soon enough. so yeah, anyway, you'll love it.

and to answer your Q, it should fit fine, but i'm not 100% sure on that one

shouldn't matter. all socket 939 chips should be the same size.

the 7000 and 7700 support all speeds, both intel and AMD

Question

I know some persons that have the XP-120 on the DFI boards. The only problem is the inside memory slots. If you really want to use these slots, you will have to install the memory with the hs/fan removed.
(Two screws takes about 5 min to remove and replace)

The hs/fan does not hit the memory sticks, it is just too close to get the memory installed with the ns/fan in place.
