Default Looking for Good OC'able AM3 MoBo

I'm looking at the GA-MA790XT-UD4P, which can be found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128378
And I'm wondering if its a good overclocker. Also if I go with that board, will I need DDR3?

Thanks, any suggestions appreciated.

Yes it is a very good overclocker.

The DDR2 version of that board has given some great overclocks on my buddies 940 BE.

And Yes, you will need to put DDR3 RAM into that board.

Cool, I found the DDR2 Version. Thanks.

Oh and if the CPU is capable, do you think it could unlock core #4 on a 720BE?

I'm not sure if you can on a Gigabyte board.

But it is possible by turning ACC to Auto.

The reviews on newegg on one of the DDR3 Gigabyte boards say that the ACC doesn't enable the fourth core.
