Default Bsod
Ok, I just added a new cd drive to my rig. It shows up as slave in bios,where it should, but when i put disc in it shows screenshot of game then goes into BSOD. I have not hooked up audio line yet, would not hooking up that line cause this problem??? If so, deos anyone know where I should plug that bad boy in at?? My mobo has the Karajan 7.1 audio madule, and I only see 1 connector...Please help

Ok.... long shot time..... If its a SATA CD drive, then you might have it connected to a unlocked port.

The audio cable shouldn't cause a BSOD

I have it hooked up as slave on ide 1or primary ide...my hard drive is set up in sata

The only thing I can think of at the moment is try updating your sound card/module drivers.

I have the answer for you....

You need to put the CDROM in the IDE secondary as Slave...
I have a RAID setup and the only way it will work properly is to have it in IDE 2...
