Default Wanting to upgrade to pci-e

oh k i currently have a k8n neo2-f im wanting to upgrade to pci-e so i can gete better frame rates, and i want to be able to get the max overclock possiable can someone tell me the best motherboards i can get im thinking about getting a 7800 gtx but unsure of what motherboard to put it on i was going to go with abit's fatal1ty but i've had so many prob's with abit recently. and i want to go sli soon so trying to find the best mobo out right now my price range is from 0-160$

DFI NF4 SLI. Best Motherboard for overclocking. 160 bucks. Just needs a good power supply.

600watt x-connect will not do the job. Its not atx12v.

i say dont worry about your PSU if you're going with mobo get the DFI NF4 SLi or the ASUS A8N SLi. I went with ASUS because i trust them more. Also the scores at anandtech were a little better in most parts

If you're not getting the DFI, don't get the ASUS,get the MSI. Read this article he's referring to at Anandtech.com. It didn't perform well at all and many on this site have problems getting the fsb over 250 stable. Here's a quote and also the link:

"Asus has been the overclocking leader in many of our recent Intel processor roundups, so it was certainly a disappointment that the Asus turned out to be a below-average overclocker in the SLI roundup. The highest CPU speed that we could reach with stability was 255, but performance at the stock 12 multiplier of our 4000+ was a respectable 234. With two of the boards in the SLI roundup going well above 300 in the same configuration, this was hardly impressive overclocking."

im getting a DFI i know what motherboard now im going to get CF setup
