Id like to see some real work benchmarks. I understand the stock 550 is comparable to a C2D E7400. Not exactly Intels fastest chip. Actually, forget intel. I would like to see how the unlocked 550 does against the X4 955 BE.

VoCoder.. Your Dual Channel Mode is unganged :w00t: I take it that means unengaged? I never saw that before. Is that bad??

That's an impressive line-up Hondaguy. What does it mean when it says CPU-Z rejected? I noticed it only says that for the X2 550. I like how you are using a different O/S with each set-up too. Which was the easiest to over clock with or does it really matter?

You didn't set the multiplier as high on the Gigabyte, any reason?

RendoR: Thanks, most of my overclocking was done with AOD, sometimes cpuz will reject them,,, only set multi to 15 with gig, just got it up and running the that mobo. letting the paste settle a bit before OC....

32 bit OS are easier to OC... 64 bit just takes alittle more volts

I just got all the parts in today. I have a question about my CPU cooler. It's a Noctua NH-C12P. The base is Nickel plated but it's copper underneath. Should I take some fine grit wet sand paper and remove the nickel plating? Or should I just leave it alone? It appears to be a very well thought out design.

Fingers Crossed this bad boy will clear the Corsair Dominator heat sinks. I read it will clear them on the UD5P which appears very similar to the UD4P.

Just got this MB and was previously stuck on 3 cores now 4 cores, EXCELLENT!

Now i have a few graphics issues and sound as well but will iron those out soon!

Rock on 4 cores, OC to come too!
