I've booted over 4ghz on v64, but it wasn't stable. I'm waiting on my loop to get here so that I can mess with this chip some more. The AC freezer isn't really up to the task.

Maybe I should apply 1.6 volts to it then and see if its stable

Better late then never I guess. All 4 cores unlocked

What's up with the temps? I was wondering was the temps in AOD show -256. It used to show temps for each core, now it just reads the motherboard temp. Is there anyway around that? Any idea why that is?

Hi,

I recently bought an MA790X-UD4P with a Phenom II 940BE and 4 x 2G KINGSTON HyperX DDR2 1066MHz CL5 HS. With normal usage I don't have any problems, but prime95 can push the cpu above 60 degrees using the stock cooler (without overclocking), so now I'm looking for a more decent one...

The performance of the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer looks quite impressive in frostytech's review, and now finally I found a picture of it here, with the same motherboard. Could you confirm that it would fit with 4 sticks of extra tall memory?

Thx!

vvilliamm. I believe F5a came before F5. You want to use F5. My board came with F2 and I updated to F5 and it works stupendously!
