Hi guys!

Quick question here... I want to buy Asus M3N-HT Deluxe/HDMI nForce 780a SLI and I wonder if this is a good mobo? What do You think about it? Is it good for overclocking?

Cheers

I love mine. I can't really comment on the ability to overclock seeing as i can't even look at my FSB without a Cmos reset, which can also be done by holding the reset button during post. So many Bios options you will fall out of you chair. who knew you chould make two pages of ram timing options and still hold a straight face. I've had no problems and the best part is, I was able to get the onboard 780a sli to run at my stock 9800 gtx+ speeds 753/2000/1066(ram). Which makes for a great physx processor. AM3 support... But someones gonna have to back me up on overclocking. I can change voltages and multipliers.... other than that.... my CPU/RAM hates me... If only I had a Phenom II 950BE......... Nvidia system tool s is a real treat to monitor everything you computer thinks about doing.

It's not a bad board only thing is with your cpu having a locked multi. I have issues with this board auto adjusting the cpu voltage to stupid high numbers when I try an adjust my reference clock. Even if I lock it in the bios it still changes itself.
Only success I have had is with turning up the multi. I suggest a foxconn destroyer it's a better overclocking board.

Yes I wasn't doubting your overclocking abilities I'm saying this board will auto adjust your cpu voltage. No matter what you set it to in the bios. Once I go over say 220 it will auto itself to over 1.5 volts an the further you go the higher it goes. It's not a good board for overclocking if you are just using your reference clock.
