Just a quick question.... What do you think about the fact that the pc shuts down and powers up again after a change in the BIOS? Don't you think it puts some stress on ur pc, especially when OC'ing because then it does it very often?

Well... First time when I installed my Asus and OCd my CPU my PC shuts down and I was like "x_X ***?!" after few seconds it starts up and i've entered the bios again to OC it again and I saw that everything was ok (still OCd) but I was still like "x_X" By the way i think it's really good solution to shut down PC after changing some otions in BIOS - specially when OC'ing, I think it put some stress but protect our machines from overheating. It's some kind of test for OCd PC

It freaked me out the first time it happened also.
It's just the mobo doing it's thing. It's like cocking a gun and pulling the trigger.

lol.

Question - what BIOS version is better in Your opinion? 1802 or 1702? Because I'm thinking of to get the 1702

Vcore is not that high, but I don't really know what will be good voltage for HT and VDDNB because i'm new with this board And thanks, I'm a fan of GoldenSample brand too, I've changed my Gigabyte 4870 512MB to this Gainward and I'm very happy, it's faster than my old 4870

You should be able to get 3.5ghz @ about 1.375v
Yea if you overclock that card it will be on par with the goes like hell golden sample edition, not far off the power of a stock 275.

Sweet!

Nope, it's not true. On my old Gigabyte MA78G-DS3H I run my CPU at 1.5v to get 3.6 stable, and with this I have to set 1.4750v to get 3.8Ghz stable, with 1,375 it will not even start And I've just overclock my card, I've reach 14k in vantage... So... my Gainward is in pair with GTX280 :P (PPU on of course) without PPU I got 11.9k so it's really close to GTX280

Edit: sorry I didn't read Your post corectly. I've reached 3.5GHz with 1.375v as You said. But 100MHz more and I have to set voltages way high o.O What do You think, what voltage should I set for HT and VDDNB? And what the.... is VDDB? BR? I'm preety new with this board

yea its a great card alright. I was going to get one and then i seen the 275 review, had a few extra quid to spend so went for that.

Haha I dunno man, im not really a geek, just talking on personal experience.
Fair old jump on the voltages aint it.

I guess I would be similar, about 1.445 to get to 3.6ghz, 1.5 to get to about 3.8.
