Wow I didn't think that anyone really bought these boards, the don't seem to be a favorite. I have one myself with a 9950 BE quad, although I need to get different ram since the ones I got with the board have a defect.

It's quite a good board however after I did a BIOS update the post times got really slow. Not sure if it has happened to anyone else.

Oh, we are out there
I think most people are put off by the high price tag. It does come with a lot of toys, but not enough to justify the $$$ to most. I love mine.
BTW I am running the 1702 BIOS. What are you running?

Hey guys, I'm a proud new owner of this puppy. I also updated BIOS to 1802 but nothing changed for me. I have got one issue though which I think is quite serious.... I can't run my RAM on 1066, it keeps on freezing on me and I get all sorts of errors on OCCT and Prime95 after about 10 seconds. Although on 800 no problems at all! I'm so lost at what to do. Anybody got an idea? I did put all voltage and timing settings manually on the CPU and RAM, no O/C yet, all stock.

This is a limitation of a few Asus boards. When running and AM2+ CPU in this mobo, the RAM is limited to DDR2 800. DDR2 1066 will not run.
The solution, which you have already partially found, is to run the RAM at 800 and overclock the heck out of it.

Sorry about the sound drivers. I wish there was an update as well. Sometimes the master volume just doesn't go high enough, and my neighbor on the third floor can barely hear it. JK
Seriously, when I switched from my inferior Soundblaster card on my M2N32-SLI to this setup, I found that the volume doesn't get quite as high, but I can definitely hear the improvement in clarity. It is probably a setting I am missing. Bah

FYI Be careful of the language you use. Even just typing *** can still get you in trouble, as it implies the bad word. I was just informed on this subject by one of our super friendly mods here Just wanted to give you fair warning

*EDIT* Almost forgot. I went ahead and started a list of members who own the board in the OP. Yay!
