Hi guys just thought i would start a thread about the Biostar Tpower 790GX 128M Thread as it is a good mobo for Unlocking Cores and Overclocking.

the reason for this thread it to share tips and settings and general chat about the mobo.
also please post you stats if you are using this mobo, i will start things off!

any questions just ask!

mine works very well. only thing i don't like is using that stupid dummy plug to get the master pci-e to run at 16x

is the bottom one master?

ive got a X1900GT will it work ok in either slots?

i have it in the top slot at the mo, is that right?

needs to go in the bottom slot. it says master right under the slot itself. also there is a little dummy card that came with the board. that should be placed in the top slot in order to get the full 16x. even if you put your card in the master slot without the dummy card it will still run at 8x
