Sounds like you bricked your mobo. As far as I know, RMA is your only option.

Sorry

PS, Don't update bios from windows.

Ok here is whta i would do in your case!!!!
1.download and save the bios you wnat to a floppy with its curent name as it comes fromm the biostar site
2.would do the steps biostar says with the cntr and home button

if that doesnt work i would rename the bios file to AMIBOOT.ROM and do the same steps again!!!!if that fails too then i think you need to rma the board i am sorry!!!!and do not update bios from windows as Djghost454 mentioned before!NEVER try that again a friendly advise!!!!!

And i dont want money!just to clariefy that!

If the bios didn't flash correctly and the board won't post, how on earth will you be able to boot a floppy?

If your computer crashes in the middle of flashing the bios it is not going to work again without a new bios chip. When flashing through windows first it will wipe the boot block (all bios info), then load the new bios. If it crashes while doing any of this then you won't have a bios installed and your computer will not be able to boot it will just load a black screen. You have to get the bios to load in order to flash from a floppy. If you have a dual bios board you may be able to still flash but if you have a biostar board I think you might be out of luck. I've killed a couple boards flashing the bios but I always buy my boards at microcenter so I can return just for that reason. Good luck though, If you do find some way to fix this let us all know because I don't think it's been done before. If someone knows a way I would love to know how myself
