i actually just bought your number 1 choice. I really enjoy this motherboard, although i ended up buying a CPU that wasnt very good at overclocking, so i havent been able to push the potentials.

The only downfall i see with it is being if you crossfire. It goes from being full x16 to a (x8, x8) so if you are looking at a crossfire setup. i wouldnt go with that.

Hope this helps in a little bit of a way.

i got the 790x-ud4p and is x8 x8 crossfire bad?

people claim it is, but with anything other that a couple x2's, or 4890's i doubt it makes a big difference...

i ended up buying the UD4P, i know ill be able to OC my CPU to DEATH! gigabyte makes WONDERFUL stuff! i run a q6600 on a UD3P @ 3.825 ALLLLL DAY under a true.

ya the more i work with this board the more i love it. get the ud4p and save yourself some bucks unless you are going to crossfire then id spend the extra.
