What is the Best OCing AM2 board??
Im not very upto date on the am2 platform but ive got a phenom 9500 which is saying around, tried to sell it but no luck so i may aswell make a rig out of it. I want to know the best board which will overclock this chip. Ive had it at 3.3ghz on a DFI M2RS..are there any better boards?

My old Asus M2R32MVP would do 350 FSB, got a 3600 Brisbane to over 3.1Ghz with a mid range priced cooler with it.

Is the DFI 790GX or 790FX? As long as it's a SB750 South Bridge, you should get a decent OC out of it. I don't see many boards taking it much higher than that, in all honesty.

Im not sure to be honest, its my friends and he swears by it that its an sb600 but im sure its an sb750.

There are many different M2RS boards... If you had the one with sb750 then you won't be able to achieve higher oc on any other board. If not, grab a board with sb750 for ACC. But in all honesty its not worth it because phenom 9500 is slow and won't overclock much further anyway.
