Default Asus Phenom II Unlockers UNITE!!!

Hey Guys,

UPDATE: Asus has released new bioses for their M4Axx line which addresses all previous unlocking problems. Make sure you update your bios to the most recent one before attempting to unlock. Frustrations are over!

If you've been following my Phenom II Unlocking guide, then you know about the problems I've personally encountered when unlocking my 720BE.

I've uploaded several Youtube videos, all unedited, showing the exact procedures on how to unlock your chips. Because Asus has such a poor implementation of their "Unleashing" function, I actually ran into quite a few problems along the way.

Anyway, if you're having trouble unlocking your own chips, watch these very boring videos. Maybe it'll help you out in your endeavours.

However, don't expect your chip to unlock 100% of the time while using your Asus motherboard. The unlocking process is highly unpredictable.

Part 1:
Part 2:
Part 3:
Part 4:

Cheers

My friend got the M4A78T-E (790GX) and it's hell on overclocking. Damn thing needs 1.55 votls for 3.6 GHZ on an 720.

Choose something on the list here pending on your personal needs:

Biostar and Gigabyte will do fine, as long as the correct bios is used.

GOOD NEWS GUYS!! There is hope for Asus owners!!

Go and download the newest bios. For the M4A78-E, it is 1302. Unlocked without any hiccups. Gonna start restarting the machine and running stability tests. Will update soon.

EDIT: After multiple restarts, the processor....

STAYS IN UNLEASHING MODE!!!

Priming right now as X4... undervolted Will update.

I guess Asus engineers finally got it right... after 12 bios revisions

I'd be curious to hear your results.
I thought AMD made all motherboard vendors disable ACC or something to stop people getting free lunches.
