I have one here not going to overclock it for now since i really don't want to mess the system up, only 17, and took the best part of a year to save up for

you can easily go up to 3.6 ghz with a tiny increase in voltage

lol, for fun i looked it up on newegg

Quote:
Could not get the motherboard to work with most power supplies. It finally worked with the Cooler Master 1250. However the 2nd time I plugged that brand power supply into the mother board I got a massive electrical fire on the mother board. I could not push the start button on the mother board to turn it off because it had flames all around it. Some seconds after the fire erupted from the motherboard I managed to pull the power cord. All of the computer components worked before the mother board burst into flames I am not so sure now if that is the case. I will have to test them to find out. I have been a long time customer of Asus and New Egg, and I have never had a mother board burst into flames over the 15 years of working on computers. I even teach courses on putting together computers and far more advanced computer topics. I hope Asus customer support is really good because I am 1 week past the 30 day warranty for new egg. These were pretty big flames by the way.
sounds like an "expert" forgot standoffs or put one too many in
