I do not personaly use 1 as it was not out when I built my system but I have replaced my board in all builds at work with the Crosshair3. It is awsome. the sound card is a nice addition, the lights are great. I love the power and reset button. its perfect for overclockers. Also the Bios is perfection! so many good option for novice and pro overclockers/power users. plenty of room to expand to crossfire and add PCIE x1 network cards etc. Its a great board all around.

My only complaint is the top PCIE x1 slot will only work with that sound card that comes with it and you can not use that sound card in any other slot. this can be an issue if you video card has heatsyncs on the memory chips on the back of the card. Most of the time everything fits ok but i did find that to be annoying and can sometimes put stress on the sound card as it trys to flex it up but so far no damages.

All around I wish i would have known this board was comming when I built my system. the M4A79T is a great board and same 790FX chipset but the upgraded sound and more robust Bios makes that board better.

Running one of these boards right now! I love it except...

I can't seem to get my OS to load up on my Intel SSD while i have raid enabled for my 300Gb Raptors. I have the intel SSD set to be the primary boot HD and the raptors paired up right, but it won't let me boot my windows 7!

It calls my intel ssd a raid-1disk i don't get it?

Anyone have an SSD running as their OS HD and have 2 other HDs in Raid at the same time for programs/games? How did you do it?

Also can't get the AHCI to work to see my 5th HD on the external SATA port as well, oye! I've installed drivers from AMD's driver website and i'm just stuck...

you could use the cpu level up function for a small overclock...no harm using that....it does everything for you and it won't fry or damage anything

I also have this mother board. I can;t not seem to get the raid function to work. When i go into bios, and set the drive configurations to raid. Then when I save my settings using F10 and then system reboots. it goes to a black screen and shows my 2 raptor drives. as ID 2+0 Raid 0 LD Size 147.99g track mapping 17993/255/63 Functional.
But once it gets to that screen the system wont do anything. I can press all kinds of commands like the CTRL+F and everything but nothing happens. System only responds to ctrl alt del. And it will keep doing this tell i go back in bios and set it to IDE again. GRR this is really frusterating
