-Chip: AMD 550 BE
-CPU clock in MHz: 3.5 Mhz
-vCore: 1.325 V (in BIOS), 1.312 V in CPUID
-NB VID: Auto (Normal)
-NB Voltage: Auto (Normal)
-SB Voltage: Auto (Normal)
-Reference clock/"FSB": 2000Mhz
-Multi: 17.5
-Validation Link: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=746214
-RAM Speed: 667
-RAM Timings: 5-5-5-15
-RAM voltage: Think it's 1.8V
-AM2+/AM3? AM3
-# of cores: 4 (unlocked other 2 cores)
-Any Comments?

I really like this MB. I have been trying to learn about OCing with it. The functions seem good, and easy to understand. I am using the F5 BIOS. I haven't touched the Voltage in any way, and got it to OC to 3.5Mhz.

My RAM will be changing soon waiting for these to arrive:
PNY XLR8 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820178235

Haven't benched it or any thing, not sure how to do that. But looking forward to being in this unofficial club.

Default I like the Board

I love this board, got my 550 BE to 17.5 * 205 = 3587mhz on 1.375 vcore. I can go higher but I still using a stock cooler so it's just too hot for me.

Learning to OC with this board too

Quick question though, I can't set my NB frequency any higher than it would normally be at 205mhz fsb which is 2050mhz. Which voltages should I play around with? and What are the limits of said voltages?

P.S. Based from what I've read. I did try only raising the CPU NB VID voltage by one notch but 1 notch = .25v? I think that's a bit too much because when I raise it another notch, it goes to 1.5v. Is there any way to make voltage changes more precise?

I'm using the latest BIOS.

edit: just realized that it only jumps by 0.025 volts, the NB VID I mean, didn't count the decimals well :P. But Still, the first question stands.

Try increasing vcore to 1.4-1.5, depending on your cooling's capabilities.

Also, updated.

Updated...

Also, this is just as great a time as any to join, Newegg's got the AM2+/AM3 (DDR2) version on sale!

Also, we need a sig - anyone got ideas?
