Rewindlabs, I think it might be time for you to RMA it since your options are dried out. Have you tried taking the mobo out of the case to see if it is working?

Oh yeah its been working fine other then the obvious dead usb ports....and i think the onboard sound may be dead as well...

I have it sprawled out onto my desk with cardboard etc

ATM i think i will grab one of the crappy PCI sound cards i have lying around and get some overclocking/gaming in for a couple of weeks.....

I would have to agree that it must have been some extra voltage that got through the system...like i have said it killed the USB ports/sound and two HDD's/DVD drive....oh and my 16GB usb stick too
