First Time Build

MSI NF980-G65 CPU Coolers
I wanted to see what coolers you guys are running on the 980 by MSI. I was looking at the V8, but it looks like it might get in the way of the ram. I'm pretty much ready to order the Mobo, CPU, and Ram, just not sure what cpu cooler to get. I already have the case, (Antec 900two) and the Graphics card (Evga 9800 GTX+). Thanks in advance for your input and suggestions.

If you plan on overclocking then i would suggest the mugen II or xiggy dark knight.

well you wont have any problems with that, I had the xiggy regular one not dark knight in mine before I went water cooling and I loved it. no mounting issues at all...just be weary of what size fan you use cause if you do a push/pull setup your fan may rest on top of the memory heat spreader. I just took a knife to mine and shaved it down a bit so it wouldnt rest on the memory...but that all depends on what memory you got and how tall the spreaders are.
If you have any issues with the board send me a PM as I have come across a few issues but nothing I couldnt figure out on my own by playing with it
