So I'll be placing an order for that soon, most likely tomorrow, maybe tonight, not that it will be processed until tomorrow. I was thinking about getting this to get any residue off the TRUE, and then I just need TIM. I'm thinking the TX-3 from this selection

+1

EDIT:But the TX-3 is out of stock... you could get this huge tube of Ceramique. http://www.crazypc.com/products/50163.html or this small tube of ASM http://www.crazypc.com/products/matrix-50140.html

I've heard Shin-Etsu is very good.

I really have to recommend OCZ Freeze, due to its super low price, excellent performance, and zero curing time. if this is your first time really getting into mounting heatsinks, you'll likely have to remount once or twice, and thus, re-apply the TIM.....having no curing time before benchmarking saves you hours.

The site I'm getting the bracket from doesn't have OCZ Freeze, so I'd like to save on shipping. If you can find the bolt through kit from NewEgg, that would be great, since NewEgg service is always top notch.

I'll probably get that massive tube of Ceramique, for the price/gram ratio, plus it's good, and if I mess up the first time, there's plenty left.

Don't get ArtiClean. It leaves some residue. Just use 90%+ alcohol. 99-100% is better, but 90% is ok too. Also, use lint free cloth or paper to wipe. Coffee filters are cheap and abundant.
