Default can't find any drivers

Hello to all of you OCN'ers

A few days ago i was asked if i could fix a friends computer for him (crashes all the time ect.) So i'd thought i'd upgrade it to windows 7 for him.

Now the installation was smooth but when i first booted it up it wasn't recognizing my network (ethernet) so i went to the device manager and it turns out the universal drivers that come on the win 7 disk didn't work.

Now i'm having problems finding this driver on the net (the driver disk is missing ) and i was wondering if some of you pro's could find one for me.

PC's specs are as follows:
Some 478 celeron that runs at 2.8ghz
Asus P4S800
1gb of RAM
ATI 9700
some noname PSU
Some noname case

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NOTE I'm hoping that windows 7 will find the rest of the drivers after i get the internet working.

Cheers

Jackeyjoe, the Asus P4S800 uses a very old chipset (SIS 648FX). Windows 7 should have the universal driver for this component but I'm not 100% certain. If all else fails you still have the ability to install a PCI network adapter. You can get one off of Newegg.com for about $10.

Hope that helps
