Hey guys, this is my first time building a computer, and I think it came out pretty decent. Still some stuff I want to do, like clean up my cables a bit and ordered green led fans instead of the blue, but it's pretty much done.

Here is the pre build loot layout, everything is from Newegg. I didn't order the HD off newegg cause they shipping is so rough, but Frys only had the 320 WD blue drive, no blacks at all, and tb of everything else, I would expect more selection from Frys So I'll have to order the 750 WD Black from Newegg, but I couldn't wait so I got that 320!



I used the Enzotech Type-X AM2 Retention clip to mount my Dark Knight. I took the stock screws out of the clip and used the ones that came with the DK for the intel chip. I used some nylon spacers from Ace Hardware instead of metal to cut down on weight. It works, but the threads in the clip and plastic and they got kinda stripped when I took out the stock bolts, so I'm going to redo it soon when I put new fans in, but it works for now.

until I realized PHEW **** the 24-pin adapter wasnt in all the way. xD

Thanks for the good feed back guys, nice to know I did a decent job. Skitzogreg sorry to hear about your SLI issues. I've yet to SLI mine but do you think this is a problem with all the boards?

I'll show updated photos when I put the new fans on and redo the heat sink. But here is another photo with the side fan installed. I had to cut a pretty big chunk of it off to make it clear the dark knight, but I was able to mount the fan LED to point into the case which produced a pretty cool effect.

No, I don't think it's a problem with all boards. It was working fine for awhile and then went totally crazy on me. Literally, screen flashes, noises, etc. The awesomeness that is Newegg is refunding it for me. I decided to go back to a single card setup on my MA770T because it's far less of a hassle. I won't do SLI anymore, but rather have a nice single card rig. Now I just have to figure out where to sell my other GTX260. Poo on the rep rule for the sales section

sorry to hear about the SLI issues, are you suire it didnt have anything to do with drivers? or the card themselves? not trying to deter or anything just curious.

This is still a new board so not too many of us out there have it. I'm going to sli my 9800gtx+ in the next month or so, once I do I'll let you guys know what happens, hopefully it remains stable.
