i went to boot my pc today and it went threw the normal post, fans reved system check started and right as winxp was about to start loading, a black screen came up and said /system32/blah.blah/blah.lds could not be loaded. i just thot it was something funky, so i shut my pc off and turned it back on. (my restart button wire is cut) so when my pc booted again, it had the same problem. it also told me to put my recovery CD in, it took me 6 tries to get into my recovery screen. and to my surprise, it said the EXE could not be loaded, press enter to quit the setup. i started cussing and screaming cause it seems every day i have a new problem.
![]() also, when my pc is overclocked, why is my full screen bios logo glitchy? as in some lines look out of place. i had to revert to stock clocks to boot. is a bad clock the result of this? too much or too little voltage? sometimes my post would hang, other id just get a black screen after my post with a flashing dash... please tell me my 110 dollar mobo i just got isnt dying

Mine did this a few times as well.
Its usually when there is a bad OC. Go here http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Moth...ProductID=3031 and get the latest bios for it. F8 I think Then slowly work back up your OC. I noticed that most of the time, the OC fails with a NB voltage issue. If that helps your OC'ing at all.

did you reformat once you plugged in the new mobo? sounds like your install is corrupted. its worth checking you pci frequency is at 100 because in conjunction with amd od they sometime have a mind of their own and go on crazy hard drive killing sprees

i didn't reformat when i plugged my ECS in, and i didn't reformat when u plugged my old asus back in. i also didn't reformat when i put my UD4P in. im up and running now, idk if it was a bad clock or what. if it was a bad clock, why would windows say it couldn't boot cause a file was missing or corrupt

I've never had a "reformat" problem with a new mobo.
I went through 3 mobos with the same HDD and OS installed. On that note I never had a reformat problem when I hooked up my UD4P

Its got a touchy OC system. I've never used above an 1100 HT with this board. Also, when OC'ing your cpu, dont adjust the HT that much. I would set the HT to stock. Along with the NB and the NB volts and stuff.
