Default Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P error message when increasing nb

Hi everyone having some weird problems with my motherboard or something else is wrong... I notice this error message pops up after i turn off my computer and this happens usually when i increase the NB frequency
above 2100. Even though i can simply just continue to boot with my overclocked settings by selecting a profile(went back to dual core)

It was prime tested on small ffts for 9hr, 4hr blend test on occt and 20 passes on LinX. I even tested with everything at stock or rated settings and did a simple increase in nb multi->11x=2200 with cpu-nb:1.3v everything else at stock boots into windows fine then when i shut off computer the error message appears again.

If anyone has any idea why this message pops up when i mess with my nb frequency please let me know thank you!

Heres a screen shot of what I'm referring to...

You're not going to like my answer, but I promise I'm trying to help. You cannot, at all, mess with the NB clocks. You're lucky your 770T even posted to begin with. You need to restore safe values,, and overclock without messing with your NB. You can wing it by bumping your NBVID to 1.3, but you're going to BSOD. Trust me (look at sig).

EDIT: Added pic of NB stable on my MB.

Is it this motherboard that restricts me from overclocking the nb? I tried both f2c and f4 bios still the same thing.

If you're looking to overclock your NB and take voltage out of the equation, then bump the CPU-NB Voltage to 1.4

No, the motherboard does not.

The issue most likely in-lies with you trying to increase your CPU-NB Multi, which usually persists to the most problems. Currently your CPU-NB multi is on x10. You should try using your HT Clock and see if increasing that (and set your other multi's & dividers so they don't overclock anything) causes the same problem.

The issue most likely inlies with Phenoms & Phenom II's not liking a NB Multi over 10.

Atleast that is the case from my experience.

I tried increasing via fsb 210 load windows fine->shut down boots straight through to windows with no error message. Then i tried fsb 220, i increased NB volts to 1.3v along with cpu-nb @ 1.3v same thing error message after shutdown.

Don't mess with your NB Voltage, leave that on stock.

220x10 = 2200mhz
210x10 = 2100mhz

You might need to increase the CPU-NB Voltage to 1.4v

Also, the error message could correlate to either an unstable RAM or CPU overclock, did you make sure to keep those adjusted so they were at stock or lower before you started increasing your HT Clock?

yep my 6gb kit rated for 8-8-8-24 1.65v @ 1600, but it @ 1333mhz instead since i believe the phenom ii don't entirely support it yet with out ocing the ram. Yep cpu at stock 3.1 everything at stock basically except the nb frequency before fiddling with it.

Try removing one of your sticks of RAM.

It could be the 3x2GB is messing you up.

If he moves the voltage to 1.4v, this board will not POST.

You are probably confusing the Northbridge & CPU-NB Voltage. They are two different things. And I know for a fact that board will post with CPU NB voltage @ 1.4
