I have a Deluxe..

And the NIC drivers suck bald monkey balls.

I dropped in a new NIC.

Made a world of difference.

The main issue I had with the onboard drivers - they take **forever** to come alive. After a reboot, I had to wait 2-3 mins after logging in to use the 'net. Quite annoying.
(Once they woke up, though, worked fine.)

Wow that doesnt sound all that great..maybe try and get hold of some updated drivers on the manufacturers site..if not then yeah maybe buy a new NIC for your computer....Realtek have never let me down.

if you use the nvidia one - its the bottom connector of the two and it sounds like since it reconizes it your drivers are working should be good to go
the marvell which is the top of the two i think was a little slower but it could have been my imagination, they should both work fine though, did you change any of your security stuff and have you done any spyware/virus/everything else scan lately
