Hey everyone,
I am having a problem with 2 of my 3 pin fan connectors on my motherboard. This is also happened on my last motherboard that I RMA'd so I am thinking there must be a jumper of some sort to enable these two fan connectors. Attached is a picture of the two that i mean. When I plug a fan into them they just don't go on, but all my other ones work fine. As I said before this isnt a new thing because the same thing happened on my last motherboard too. Thanks

Hi zerohour
What size fans are you trying to connect? 120mm 12v?

well...80mm is 12v as well....it may be a jumper, but i've never used a DFI board, so i can;t help very much, but i do know that DFI's rely heavily on jumper configurations....otherwise, it would be in the BIOS under power management.

I have read on the DFI-Strret forums that it's advisable not to run high power fans through the motherboard fan connectors.
The maximum for the mobo headers is 6.24W Theres a good chance that if it's a new mobo it may be defective. You could probaly get some good advice on this for the DFI-Street Forums

I dont think there is a jumper for the fan headers on the Mobo.
