if you got the space to add that to your mobo, that thing is huge for your chipset i would recommened it greatly, generally i would stay away from motored air cooling from those little fans, that is if you want a quiet computer, cause they get so annoying and they fail quickly and start to cause a racket in your case . )

No experience with that one.
Everyone knows that the "Big Typhoon" is hands down the best.
Runner up would be the Zalman 9500 and the Ninja. WOOPS, SORRY - (KICK IN MY HEAD) -CHIPSET COOLER. mY bAD

with the chipset being such a small die, if u add that you greatly increase the
heat evaporating square area...prolly 10X times which doesnt necessarily mean 10x less temperature but a great improvement. Dont forget to consider the airflow throughout the computer blowing on this thing. Overall its a good choice.

I can't use that one!

My 7800GT hangs over my chipset! Man!

Does anyone know of a low profile full copper H/S?

And to think, I just ALMOST bought it, lol.

here is just a few links, this one being a value one ofcourse, heaven and hell compared to that huge one on your first post, but still nice. low profile and will fit.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118214

again these little noisey monsters 5.4CFM at 4500RPM!!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835166049

another not bad one. but i would take the first one on this post over this.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118202

again 5000RPMs but at a blistering 12CFM.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835116003

overall you can read the reviews on these i would choose the first one , the Zalman. but thats just me, you can get a fan but be prepared.

btw THNX!

That Zalman would most definetly not fit.....there is literelly barely ANY room between the video card and the chipset cooler.

I'm kinda thinking of this one, just cause it looks cool, lol. Plus, I would lap it.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...3564&CatId=498

I'll probably end up getting this one.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835116003

I'm a chump when it comes to airflow

I wouldn't have 4 AeroCool 55fcm 80mm case fans and a Tornado 92mm if I wasn't

great choice, fans are definetly a good choice if u dont have a problem with noise or have a soundproof case. You will see a great difference with 12CFM of air going at that chip at 5k rpms. and only 9 bucks. ) awesome price compared to 30 bucks for that fanless titanic. cheers.
