i am having big probs loading the drivers to get the sata to work, i am trying to set it up to use 1 western digital sata 120Gb in base mode, i have been through the users manual word by word. In one section it says press the F6 button on startup to get into the setup menu but nothing happens when i press the f6 button, i have tried everything in the book, am i missing something or has everyone with this M/board haveing the same probs or is it just me???

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but if you are trying to install a fresh copy of windows you will need your SATA driver disk when installing. It should come up with something at the bottom of the screen saying 'Press F? to install additional drivers'.

![]() I've never used your board before, but in your bios do you have the drives set as RAID? If so, is it possible to switch them back to ordinary SATA drives?

The only other think you could maybe try is doing a repair on windows (basically going as if you was going to reinstall - but choosing the repair option), and make sure during the first screen of the windows setup, you get it to load the sata drivers. This way, you won't loose anything on your disk.
