Hi , well i am newly registered here , my real question here is , is the ASUS A8R32-MVP Delux board really worth it , seeing that some reviews says that the new chipset Xpress 3200 in some test is slower than the old Xpress 200 chipset ? Would it rather be worth while 2 wait 4 the new AM2 proccessor , and get a Xpress 3200 chipset board thats worth the money

It seems to me it's a great board, but I'm not so sure it's worth upgrading from your mobo, wich is not bad, to the other one. Those differences when the 3200 was lower than the 200 were too small, I think they are in the error margin of the benchmarks. The x3200 being an ATI I'm preety sure the drivers are imature and in a month or two we'll see that with some updated drivers and the 3200 will outrun the 200 in all the benches, there is no reason not to from the technical point of view.
Still if you're not using crossfire in res like 1920* with 14 AA/ 16 AF I don't see the point in getting the A8R32 in stead of the A8R (based upn the 200) wich is half the price and handles very well both benchmarks and OCing.

You yourself suggested that you wait until AM2 boards debut, which will be a good decision, seeing that ATI's SB600 will be fully compatible with AM2, along with the Xpress 3200 chipset (RD580). This means that there will be enthusiast boards availible at launch. Coupled with the fact that AM2 is coming out at a time DDR2 is overtaking DDR in terms or performance, regardless of timings, and that AMD's FX processors are going to feature a full 4mb L3 cache. In fact, I see very few downfalls to waiting for AM2, except for the waiting part.
See my RD580 chipset link (My signature) for details. If you cannot wait for AM2, wait at most a week for the DFI LP CFX3200. It will probably be the best RD580 board on the market. The ASUS is a great board, but the DFI will probably kit its ass in terms of enthusiast class performance.

the only reason i wanna upgrade my board is to get a ATi X1900XTX , unfortunatly my motherboard is still AGP , so @ the moment its a struggle to get a better GFX card than i allready have , seeing that i am in South Africa , waiting 4 the DFI is just as good as waiting 4 the AM2 seeing that we are considerably slower in getting new motherboards , good example the ASUs board was only released here yesterday
