I bet those SATA drivers are available at your motherboards website. Download those drivers to a floppy and in Windows installation it prompts you to hit F2 or something like that if you have any third party drivers to install or something to that effect. Pay attention because it will come and go quickly and when it asks for the disk just pop it in and you should be good to go.

Ah... believe it or not you do have to have the text file on the floppy!
Are any files in a folder, if so put them directly on the floppy.

Actualy most Motherboard drive disks have a untility on thier CD-rom that makes
A driver floppy. You just pop in the floppy and run the utility and your floppy is made to order.

Do you mean SATA Raid or just SATA? You shouldn't need to install drivers for SATA at windows install should you? I know I've never had to (NF2 and NF4). But like duke said, if it's in a folder on the floppy it won't read it, make sure all files are straight on A:\ , no folders at all.

Just to clear things up you must hit F6 to load the drivers, right at the begining of the install. Most mobo cd's do have the uttility to create the disc, just make sure you use the right one. Usually when you download the drivers from the web it will be and .exe and you just need to run the program and it will make the disc for you.
