First of all, you should fill out your system specs. Just go to the CP link at the top of the page. As for the software you got, it probably wont do too much. To overclock, you have to go into the bios of your mobo before boot up and change the fsb/htt and/or multiplier if your lucky enough to have a cpu thats unlocked, which you dont. I would also look into getting a good psu. I dont know what you have but that could be the reason why you keep crashing. Once again, if you fill out your system specs, we will be able to help you more. Here is a good faq to get you started...

I hope this helps.

Does anyone know what a #@ing sticky is for? Am I the only one who comes to a new forum and actually reads the stickies. Read this first, see where it says "read this first"? http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/14...-far-your.html

I don't mean to sound, well, mean but these are busy forums and we do love helping people and especially noobs but don't go to a drag racing forum and ask "hey, how do I drag race" when there's a sticky that says "how to drag race" on the first bloody page. Sorry if you're offended, I tend to go off when my sense of logic is violated, lol.
