First useful program in C++!
First I'd like to say thanks to DangerousHobo as he truly is an awesome guy and very patient at that!
This is a program I use to keep track of friends phone numbers. Just type their name to see their number, or type list to get a list of names. Exit closes the program. Heres a quick screenie showing name, list, person not found, and exit functions/text. Aim window with DangerousHobo in the background!  Its coming together quite well, yes?

Pretty cool, although I would prefer a nice GUI with C#.NET or VB.NET.

Thankya.
But unless you wanna teach me how to code that..no thanks! GUI=Complicated...correct? edit-Coulda done in VB and look nice, but I dont know much vb at all, and it was a project to learn C++

Really nice, I remember when I learned the basics of C++ then gone nuts with building a lot of programs

With visual studio or visual c# express a GUI is very easy actually

Yeah, I made a small web broswer thing in VB, but i like c++ .more and this was a learning project really.

C++ is great, and pretty much everything you learn in c++ you can easily apply to c# if you decide to use that
IMO the best way to do it is to pick a language and get good at the basics with it. Seems like you're well on to doing that with c++ so keep it up!

C#/VB.NET/Java in a gui is like building legos, imo. Even a console c++ app is more complicated.
